Instead of reading this week, I’m spending time with Mom. We went to the library today, and picked up some jigsaw puzzles for the holidays. We played with one of those for the afternoon, then headed to my cousin’s for the entire evening. Afterwards, we took time to drive around and look at Christmas lights. We’ll do that again sometime this weekend.
In the meantime, Happy Reading, and I hope you have a wonderful holiday if you celebrate.
Sounds like a fun time.
We’re having a great time. Thank you, Kevin.
I know you’ll enjoy every moment! Merry Christmas to you and your family, Lesa!
Good morning from London, Lesa!
We’ve had a brilliant time down here, culminating in seeing Cabaret last night – which was simply amazing. Jake Shears was born to play the role of the Emcee, his performance was a real tour de force.
I’ll tell you more about it next week.
In the meantime I just wanted to say hello and that I’m so glad you’re having a good time with your mother. I love jigsaws, but I don’t get one out too often as then I can’t keep away from it and get nothing else done. They’re great for holidays though.
We’re taking the train back to Edinburgh today. We and a gazillion other people no doubt, but we have seat reservations in first class (treat!) so should hopefully be ok 🤞.
Enjoy your day,
Rosemary
Oh, Rosemary! I can’t wait to hear about Cabaret. And, your train trip home in first class!
Thank you. Mom gave you a thumbs up when I read this and said you can’t keep away from the jigsaw puzzle. Neither can we. But, my grandmother did them until she died at 92, and she was sharp as a whip. So, a good reason to do one, especially over the holidays.
How lovely Lesa.! Enjoy the days with your mom. It sounds wonderful.
Thank you, Reen. I am enjoying the time with Mom.
Sounds wonderful!
We always have such a nice time together.
