No, we’re not actually on a trip. But, my sisters and I all converged on Mom’s house to celebrate her birthday with lunch, laughter, and an overnight stay together. And, we always joked we lived in a place in northern Ohio on Lake Erie called “Vacationland”, but we always left town for vacations. This time, we all came home to celebrate Mom.
So, no book review for the next couple days. Instead, I’m spending time with family, making memories.
Back soon!
Okay, but if you take this to the logical conclusion and start reenacting scenes from the Fast and Furious movies, the rest of us are going to have to come up with bail money. So, family responsibly.
The neighbors even cooperated last night, Kevin! They said they’d close their windows, and ignore whatever happened here.
Sounds like so much fun!
It is, Ellen!
Happy Birthday to your mother, Lesa. Have a terrific time with her and your sisters. We’ll miss you but–no rush!
Thanks, Kim. Heading home tomorrow, so I’ll get back on track.
I also wish your Mom a very Happy Birthday, Lesa! So glad you guys are getting to spend some fun times together. Enjoy and we’ll see you when you return. 🙂
Thank you, Kay. It was great. Not just my sisters, but an “adopted” sister, a niece, a brother-in-law. And, a lunch with an aunt and uncle. We make the most of a short visit.
Have a wonderful time with your family, Lesa! Those are the best times, aren’t they?
You are so right, Margie. They are the best times.
