This week, I’m giving away books whose authors’ names begin with “S”. Let’s start with Paige Shelton’s Lost Books and Old Bones because I have two copies of that title. This is the latest Scottish Bookshop mystery featuring Delaney Nichols, an American who has moved to Edinburgh. She works at The Cracked Spine. Delaney is now friends with a few medical school students. But, when one of the students’ friends is found murdered outside in the alley, Delaney is caught up in the investigation and the history of murder connected to the medical school and scalpels found at The Crooked Spine.

Or, you can go back to the 1950s in Sara Sheridan’s England Expects. Former Secret Service operative Mirabelle Bevan teams up with her close friend and coworker Vesta Churchill to investigate  the case of a murdered journalist. Sportswriter Joey Gillingham stops off at a Brighton barbershop, and ends up with a slashed throat. The murder is the talk of the town, with rumors that the newspaperman is a member of the free masons. When Mirabelle ends up at the group’s local lodge, the cleaning lady is dying. Now, the common thread between the deaths appears to be the secret society.

Which mystery would you like to win? You can enter to win both, but I need separate entries. Email me at Lesa.Holstine@gmail.com. Your subject line should read either “Win Lost Books and Old Bones” or “Win England Expects.” Please include your name and mailing address. Entries from the U.S. only, please. The giveaway ends Thursday, July 19 at 6 PM CT.
