This year, I’m going to give thanks in reverse. I usually end my Thanksgiving post by thanking you, my blog readers and friends. Instead, I’d like to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving, and say I’m grateful for you. I’m thankful you spend a little bit of time every day or every week with other people who like to read and talk about books. Thank you for dropping by, even if you don’t comment. I hope you’ve found a spot to discover a new book or author, or even another reader who likes similar books. Thank you for stopping here.
I’m grateful for the love of family and friends. Several family members commented that we’re blessed. The author Daniel Palmer recently posted a YouTube video, and I’m going to share the link here. If you have time, stop and watch it. It might seem to be a Christmas video, but it’s really a video about gratitude. There are so many blessings in life.
I’m grateful for my cats, for the ability to travel, for my life.
And, I”m grateful, of course, for books and the opportunity to share my love of books with you. Thank you for allowing me to talk about books. And, if you want to talk about what you’re reading, stop back tomorrow.
Today, I just want to thank you for stopping by. Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving, Lesa (and all but the spammer)!
This has always been my favorite holiday, first because I associated it with my birthday (which is not today, but very close) and one of my favorite meals (is there anything better than stuffing? – not to me), but everything that goes with it.
So have a great day (I hope yours is warmer than our 21 degrees with a 9 degree wind chill!) and count your blessings.
Happy Thanksgiving to each one of you.
May today be filled with blessings and happiness.
It is a real joy to be part of this group and share our love of books with each other.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone
Happy Thanksgiving! I am one of your visitors who rarely comments, but this blog is a regular stop for me to read about new books.
Happy Thanksgiving, Jeff! (I just deleted the spam. Why on Thanksgiving? Oh, well.) I love Thanksgiving, too I love stuffing, and being with friends. I love when I'm with family, but most years I'm here with dear friends. Talking books tomorrow!
Charlotte, you and my other readers are some of my favorite blessings. I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving. Let's talk books tomorrow. Hugs, my friend.
Happy Thanksgiving, Sandy!
Happy Thanksgiving, Lil! I'm grateful for everyone who stops by. I started this blog to share my love of books and reading. I love doing it, whether or not people comment. I hope you have a beautiful day.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I am especially thankful this year because our granddaughter, Autumn Hensley Bunting (love the name!), was born two nights ago to our younger son and our daughter-in-law. Her big brother, who turned two years old on November 1, has already tried to share food with her and wanted to make sure she was "comfy" in her swaddle. He told her he loves her and can say her name clearly. Autumn came home last night, and we're on our way today to share Thanksgiving with them (the big meal will be tomorrow). My husband has been battling cancer for 21 months, and I am thrilled he made it to the birth of his granddaughter.
As always, I am thankful for you, Lesa, and for this group of friends who share a love for all-things-books.
Happy Thanksgiving, Lesa! I'm so grateful that you came into my life and offered your kind friendship. Sending hugs to you and the fur-babies from me and mine. ~ Lots of love to you!
A very happy day of Thanksgiving to you, Lesa! And also all your wonderful friends here! I so enjoy stopping by and seeing what everyone is up to and reading. And, Lesa, I'm very grateful for your friendship over the years. You take care and I'll hope to see you again in days to come. 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving, Lesa and all commenters!
I'm one of those who stop by daily, but rarely comment. However, what better day than Thanksgiving to tell you all how much you're appreciated? So thank you, Lesa, for all your generous, consistent efforts to produce the blog and introduce authors new to me and new authors to a wider audience. It is much appreciated.
And, like Jeff, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday for a number of reasons, but I'll only name two: it's close to my birthday as well and getting together with family to eat delicious foods, hike and play games.

Happy birthday, Tricia!
And congratulations, Margie. Autumn is a perfect name.
Thank you, Jeff!
Happy Thanksgiving to all…10' here with a wind chill not to be mentioned! and yes Jeff – stuffing is the best part!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
Happy Thanksgiving to all of us!! Putting in the biscuits now.
Happy Thanksgiving!
It was so good to come home from friends' and find all these notes from all of you. I hope everyone had a nice day. Margie, sending you special hugs this year. Congratulations on the new granddaughter. Autumn is a beautiful name.
I hope you all stop by again tomorrow. I'm running a contest, but I'm going to start with the What Are You Reading, my favorite part of the week.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone
