A couple familiar names, but plenty more I hadn’t heard of before. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you for your list Kaye. The few books I’ve read from the list I liked so I look forward to trying a few I haven’t read. It’s amazing how many books are out there just waiting to be read!
Good list, and not just because I have three books I agree with on there – THE GOD OF THE WOODS (read this year), THE BRIAR CLUB, and THE WOMEN. (ANd Jackie would add THE MIRROR.)
I’ve heard of most of these books Kaye, at the very least through your contributions on Thursday. But The Many Mothers of Ivy Puddingstone caught my eye. I have a hold for that one now. Thanks for sharing.
I just finished reading The Marriage Portrait by Maggie O’Farrell, which I loved. Will definitely check out the book you mentioned by her! Thanks for sharing!
I loved “The Women”. Even though it’s fiction, it’s important to remember what our veterans go through.
I have a hold on “The Briar Club”. Hope it comes in soon. I’ve heard several people rave about it.
Hi, Kaye! I have read six of your books, and two more are planned for my local book club this year (both suggested by me). Thank you for the recommendations. Many times you have suggested books that I then requested on NetGalley and really enjoyed.
Such a nice long list Kaye. I’ve heard of nine of your favourites but have only read one – The Briar Club. But I do own two others – Love at First Book and The Mirror; just haven’t read them yet.
My next pick will be The Story She Left Behind because you and so many others have loved it.
Thanks for sending the list and giving me several more titles to think about!
Good Morning, all! Isn’t Lesa’s place the best place for discovering new books and new authors? i hope some of you find something new on my list.
I have already read your list of favourites on your blog Kaye, and added several to my wish list. You have chosen such interesting books, there are so many I’d like to read – oh for more hours in every day!
Some of these are on my favorites list too. (And I love Kaye’s hat. 😀)
Hi Kaye, and thanks for your recommendations. There are only three on the list that I’ve read–and I like them all. That means I’ll want to be checking out the others. And I look forward to trying one of your books, too.
