Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to those who celebrate. Christmas to me has always been about family, food, togetherness, and background music. Togetherness means the time we all spend together, talking about books and our lives. Thank you for being such an important part of my life. I appreciate our time together and our discussions. I’ll be here tomorrow to talk about books, our holidays, family, weather, health, whatever we feel like talking about. I hope you have a beautiful day today. But, I know it has been a rough year for so many people. Everyone didn’t have a good year. So, I’ll end today’s post as my favorite journalist, Connie Schultz, does. “If this is a hard week for you, may the day land gently.”

Merry Christmas, Lesa and everyone here. We watched A Christmas Story for the first time in years last night, and I enjoyed it as much as ever. Tonight: Meet Me In St. Louis and Love Actually. Or maybe, It’s a Wonderful Life first.
The weather may be frightful but there are always books to read, television and movies to watch, and good food to eat.
Merry Christmas, Jeff, to you and Jackie. I probably won’t watch the two movies I want to catch until after I get home – The Muppets Christmas Carol and Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol. I enjoy Love Actually, too.
I love that attitude. There are always… Love it.
Merry Christmas, Lesa. We are having record-breaking high temperatures here~
Merry Christmas, Carol. We had nice weather today, only to follow with sleet tomorrow.
Merry Christmas! Hope everyone has a great day celebrating.
Merry Christmas, Bev. I hope you enjoyed your day.
Lesa, love you thoughts above. We’re just about ready for family to come for Christmas lunch, gifts, and playing games. It will be fun. And it’s quite warm here, but it’s OK to have your A/C on for Christmas Day! I can remember Christmases when I was a teen and running outside barefoot. And not freezing to death. LOL
I wish those who have struggled or lost dear family or friends much peace today and in upcoming days. Take care, friend!
I hope you had a wonderful day, Kay. Yes, it is okay to run your air conditioner on Christmas! Been there, done that. I love that warm weather.
You take care as well. And, I hope the next year is kind to you.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Scott and I at Casa Tipple and Home Eatery Library in NE Dallas where it is predicted to hit the low 80s today and possible break the record. May it be a great day for all.
I know it’s getting late, but I hope you and Scott had a nice day. Sending hugs.
Merry Christmas to you, Lesa, and to everyone who posts here. I hope everyone enjoys the day. I’m also grateful for our exchanges, which are lots of fun.
Merry Christmas, Kim. I hope you enjoy your time with your son, husband, and friends. I, too, enjoy our visits here.
Merry Christmas to all. We will be watched The Thin Man and Arsenic and Old Lace. One afternoon, one in the evening. We have had lots of rain in the last couple of days. Some high winds and flood warnings, but I don’t expect serious weather problems in our area.
Merry Christmas to you and Glen, Tracy. I hope you enjoyed your movies, and your time together. Stay home and stay safe!
