Right there. That’s Mom’s main gift for Christmas this year. Well, not really. I have something special ready to share. But, this is my way of saying I’m driving to Mom’s today to stay through Christmas, and a few days longer. It’s nice to be able to shut up the place, and just drive a couple hours north, rather than that seven hour trip from Evansville. And, as much as I miss my cats, I don’t have to worry about a cat sitter here in my new home.
So, yesterday I took care of all kinds of last minute things, including returning books to the library. Today, I’m on the road. I will have a post tomorrow, after all it’s Thursday, and I don’t want to miss that. But, today’s post is a safe travels wish for everyone taking to the road soon.
Have a wonderful Christmas!
Travel safe!
It’s great that you can spend Christmas with your mother. My mother and father would be 94 and 95, and I’d love to spend another Christmas with them. Enjoy every minute of the visit, and thanks for all your terrific book reviews and comments. I look forward to reading more of them in 2024 and beyond.
Love the picture! Safe travels, Lesa and have a wonderful Christmas with your family.

Have a wonderful time with family.
Safe travels and have a wonderful time with your family. So happy you will not have to face a 7 hr car ride this year.
Thank you, everyone! I’m safely at Mom’s. Dinner is in the oven, and we’re working on a jigsaw puzzle. It’s good to be here.
