Some of you have missed the book chats featuring the mysteries from Berkley Prime Crime. Or, maybe you just miss the book chats featuring Jinx. I can’t help with the fact that Berkley is now doing just a few paperback mysteries a month. But, I can still do book chats with Jinx.
Welcome to Sunday Reading Corner. Some Sundays, I’ll talk about the books I’m currently reading. Maybe Jinx or Josh will appear. It’s just one more way of sharing books (and cats). I hope you enjoy the new feature!
Lesa, I love this! What a fun feature this is and Jinx just cracks me up. What a star!
I'm going to enjoy and look forward to your Sunday Reading Corner.
xxoo
This was fun. Obviously Jinx misses starring in your videos
Love the Sunday Reading Corner!
Thank you, everyone. Yes, I think Jinx did miss starring in the videos. Let's see, now, if he shows up next week.
Jinx you are a ⭐️ bright as ever.
Enjoyed the review, thank you Lesa.
Thank you, Charlotte. Just something a little lighter on a Sunday!
Loved the visit to your reading corner, Lesa! It brought some books to my attention that I hadn't seen yet. I did come across the last book, library and robbers one, the other day and I'd added to my Amazon wish list. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think about it. And, Jinx is a star!
I liked this, Lesa! Had fun hearing about your reading and seeing your 'reading corner'. More please! LOL
Love it … What could be better than seeing Jinx, hearing your voice, and listening to that wonderful obituary!
Lesa, I absolutely love this – it's so great to hear your voive, and your beautiful accent! I'm so glad this is going to be a regular feature. (Is an Afghan a rug?)
The books I most liked the look of were the two about food (!) and the last one, set in a library. I've only got about a million books in my tottering towers of TBRs – so I'll add these to my wish list.
I've just started Joanna Cannon's 'The Trouble with Sheep & Goats', which is set in suburban England in the baking hot summer of 1976. A local resident goes missing and two schoolgirls try to find out where she's gone and why.
Hope you've had a good weekend Lesa!
This is so very cool!
Thank you, everyone! I'm going to do it most Sundays. I know I have a Sunday interview coming up, but most weeks, you'll get to hear about books, and see whatever cat shows up.
Rosemary, Thank you. An afghan is a knitted or crocheted blanket, just heavy enough to throw over a lap and be warm. And, I'm sure I'd enjoy your accent as well. Isn't it wonderful when we finally get to hear voices.
Thanks, and hugs to all of you!
