Rick asked if we were going to talk about books on Thanksgiving, and I’m glad he did. I should have mentioned it last week, and I just never put Thursday and Thanksgiving together at that time.
I’ll do a “giving thanks” post as I normally do, but, if the weather is decent, I’ll be heading out on a five-hour road trip to my sister’s for Thanksgiving. So, let’s plan on talking books on Friday this week.
I’m sorry I didn’t think to mention it earlier. But, I hope you all have something to give thanks for – family or friends or a place to sleep or a book to read. And, let’s talk books on Friday.

Happy Thanksgiving Everybody! Talk to you Friday!
Happy Thanksgiving. Have a safe trip Lesa.
Although we don’t do official
Thanksgiving over here, Lesa, this is fine with me as I’m actually going to be busy up till Friday.
And I have plenty to be thankful for, including the fact that my youngest daughter Madeleine arrived last night for a visit. Mr Charlie Parker instantly attached himself to her. He was in trouble with me for having just that afternoon shredded my flesh – you could almost see him thinking ‘well I’ve got a new best friend now, so there!’
I hope you manage to have a great time with your sister. See you on Friday!
Oh, Rosemary. Thank heavens that Mr Charlie Parker has a new friend just when he needs one. (grin)
Oh, good. Enjoy Madeleine’s visit, and we’ll talk Friday!
CP needs to mend his manners!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone, and safe trip, Lesa! As mentioned before, this is my favorite holiday of the year – it’s my birthday holiday (tomorrow) and I love all the food that goes with it.
Everyone, stay safe out there!
Enjoy every bit of the food, Jeff, and Company! Happy Birthday!
We’ll talk Friday!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Safe travels for those of you who are on the road. We’ll talk books on Friday! (That’s better than any Black Friday shopping!)
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Safe travels to those who will be on the road (I will be thinking of you, Lesa).
Thank you, Kaye! I’m looking forward to it. At the moment, they’re saying rain on Thursday. That’s okay.
