Congratulations to the winners of the last contest. Lisa G. from Pensacola Beach, FL won M, King’s Bodyguard. Donna S. from Milford, CT won Mercy Creek. The books are going out in the mail today.

This week, I’m giving away several mysteries set in Ireland. I know I have some others around here, but I had to rearrange books this week, and now I don’t know where they are. Oh, well. There will be Irish books for some other time. These should make it in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

I have two copies of Carlene O’Connor’s Murder in Galway because they came out a year apart, and I’ll buy almost any mystery set in Ireland. New Yorker Tara Meehan travels to Galway to take her mam’s ashes home, and to meet the uncle she never knew. Tara loves her first glimpse of Galway, but a gypsy warns her that death is all around, and when she arrives at her uncle’s cottage, she finds a dead man sprawled over the threshold. You can enjoy the mystery and a glimpse of Galway.

Carlene O’Connor’s Murder at an Irish Wedding is in a separate series. It features the O’Sullivan clan of County Cork.. Siobhan O’Sullivan and her five siblings are catering a wedding from their cafe, Naomi’s Bistro. It’s a three-day affair in the small village of Kilbane, and the bride is a famous fashion model. But, when the best man makes a drunken arse out of himself, and is then found murdered in the woods, it casts a pall over the nuptials. A second murder turns the wedding into an Irish wake.

Which mystery would you like to win as a St. Patrick’s Day book? You can enter to win both, but I need separate entries. Email me at Lesa.Holstine@gmail.com. Your subject heading should read either “Win Murder in Galway” or “Win Murder at an Irish Wedding.” Please include your name and mailing address. Entries from the U.S. only, please. The giveaway will end Thursday, March 10 at 5 PM CT.

And, just a note. I’ll be taking a week off between contests since I”ll be out of town the following week. The next contest will kick off on Friday, March 25.
