Congratulations to the winners of last week’s contests. Richard S. from Toledo, OH won Bill Crider’s Between the Living and the Dead. Terry Shames’ A Deadly Affair at Bobtail Ridge will go to Penny T. from Klamath Falls, OR. Gail A. from Tulsa, OK won Craig Johnson’s Wait for Signs.
I have a special giveaway this week. When Edith Maxwell (Maddie Day) was at the library on Monday night, I bought four copies of her new book, Flipped for Murder. It’s the first in a new Country Store mystery series. It’s set in a combination restaurant and country store in southern Indiana. Robbie Jordan moved from California, renovated the store, and is excited about the grand re-opening. At least she’s excited until one of her first customers ends up dead with one of Robbie’s cheesy biscuits stuffed down her throat. Now, she has to clear her name and save her business.
All the copies are autographed, so this week I’m giving away four copies of the debut mystery, Flipped for Murder. If you’d like to win, email me at Lesa.Holstine@gmail.com. Your subject heading should read “Win Flipped for Murder.” Please include your name and mailing address. Entries from the U.S. only, please. The giveaway will end Thursday, Nov. 12 at 6 PM CT.
Congrats and happy reading to the winners!
What an amazingly generous lady you are. I hope my name is one of the four chosen.
Thank you for the wonderful giveaway. 🙂
You're welcome! I really enjoyed this first mystery, and it's a good way to introduce readers to it.
Excited about a series set in Southern Indiana, U grew up in Indianapolis but we always went to Southern Indiana in the summer and fall. That is where my heart is.
Very interested in this new series…thanks!
I love when authors visit at the libraries. This one looks like an enjoyable, cozy read.
