Congratulations to the winners of the last contests. Bessie M. from Fort Wayne, IN won Gathering Prey. Judy M. of Bradenton, FL will receive the copy of At the Drop of a Hat by Jenn McKinlay. Fran Stewart’s A Wee Murder in My Shop will go to Cheryl S. of Fort Pierre, SD.
This week, I’m giving away two mysteries related to books. Death at the Door is one of Carolyn Hart’s Death of Demand mysteries. Annie Darling, owner of the mystery bookstore Death on Demand, is part of the Broward’s Rock community. She’s as shaken as everyone else when a beloved doctor appears to have committed suicide. And, then a woman is murdered, and her artist husband is arrested. But, the doctor’s sister, convinced her brother did not commit suicide, brings Annie and Max a sketch that links her brother with the murdered woman. Now, Max and Annie are looking for a killer who might have framed the artist.
Lucy Arlington’s Novel Idea series has become one of my favorites. It features Lila Wilkins, literary agent “and murder magnet”. In Played by the Book, the owner of the Novel Idea Literary Agency is thrilled to host the former local boy and TV show host who is launching his new gardening book. Lila isn’t thrilled that her garden is now part of the local garden show and she has to plan a book launch gala. She’s even less thrilled when she tries to work on her garden and finds a skull buried in her flower beds. Her discovery leads to other hidden secrets in town, and to murder.
Which book-related mystery would you like to win? You can enter to win both, but I need separate entries. Email me at Lesa.Holstine@gmail.com. Your subject line should read either “Win Death at the Door” or “Win Played by the Book.” Please include your name and mailing address. Entries from the U.S. only, please. The giveaway will end Thursday, May 7 at 6 PM CT.
Thanks for offering the giveaways!
You're welcome, Julie. Good luck!
Thank you so much for the giveaway. Hope I can win the book I requested. 😀
Thanks for the opportunity to win!
Thanks for the opportunity to win!
Thanks for a chance to win a book.
Thank you for the giveaway! 😀
Lesa thanks for the opportunity to win. I entered off my kindle and quite frankly can't find the sent emails so am not sure which account it went from. Hmmm. I 'll have to be sure to check back next week!
Best of luck to everyone who joined this contest! It would be divine to win both copies, but I guess one can only be so lucky. Hahaha! It does seem like Death at the Door would be quite a fascinating read, just like all of the other books in the Death on Demand series. This may be the 24th book, but it's definitely one to look forward to! Thanks for hosting this contest, Lesa! All the best!

Thank you, Lucius. And, good luck, everyone!
