Congratulations to the winners of the last giveaway. Nicole P. of Tigard, OR will receive Path Into Darkness. Daniel M. of Weymouth, MA won A Most Novel Revenge. The books will go out in the mail on Saturday.

This week, I’m giving away mysteries set in Brooklyn. Let’s start with Lawrence H. Levy’s Last Stop in Brooklyn. It’s set in the summer of 1894, and private investigator Mary Handley has come to Coney Island. A serial killer is on the prowl in Coney Island, and with the NYPD determined to hide the truth, it’s up to Brooklyn’s pluckiest detective to solve her most dangerous case yet.

Or, you could read a contemporary mystery that leads back to World War II. It’s Triss Stein’s Brooklyn Wars. Erica Donato attends a public meeting that ends in anger, but she’s shocked to witness the murder of a power broker that night in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. She decides to do a little investigating in order to flesh out her PhD dissertation about city neighborhoods. It’s then she discovers her own family’s connection to the politics of the Navy Yard, and a mystery surrounding the family.

Which Brooklyn mystery would you like to win? You can enter to win both, but I need separate entries. Email me at Lesa.Holstine@gmail.com. Your subject line should read either “Win Last Stop in Brooklyn” or “Win Brooklyn Wars.” Please include your name and mailing address. The giveaway will end Thursday, Feb. 8 at 5 PM CT. Entries from the U.S. only, please.
