Congratulations to the winners of the last contest. Jody C. from Salina, KS will receive Christmas Mittens Murder. Have Yourself a Deadly Little Christmas is heading to Julia H. from Excelsior, MN. The books will go out in the mail today.
As I mentioned, I’m taking a break from the contests until after I move. I won’t have to make extra trips to the post office. I do have to say the women at the local post office are going to miss me. We’ve been talking on Fridays for years now, and they know it’s media mail when I come in. I know when and where they’re going on vacation. I’m going to have to train a whole new staff once I move.
Thanks for entering the contests. They’ll be back, but the date is uncertain.
Lesa, thank you for providing these Friday give always for so many years. When I first started following your blog I won a book by one of my favorite authors; I can still remember how thrilled I was to win.
Glad you are suspending a few of your many projects while you concentrate on your retirement and move. That is a lot on anyone’s plate.
Hope you have a good, productive-feeling weekend.
Thank you, Susan!
And, I will start the contests up again once I’m settled in. I know people enjoy them, and I do, too.
Thank you Lesa! I was so happy to win a Christmas mystery!
Wishing you well with all of the packing and moving!
You’re welcome, Julia!
I have so many people wishing me well with this move. It’s only my own fault if I don’t get everything done.
Haha. The pressure is on! Seriously though, one way or another the move will happen. It may be smooth, it may be ugly but this time next month it will be done. Then you can take as long as you want with your retirement days to set up your new home.
You’re right, Susan. There was recently an ugly move in our family. I’m hoping mine goes better. But, as you said, this time next month it will be done!
