Congratulations to the winners of the last giveaways. The New York Times bestseller, Spellcasting in Silk by Juliet Blackwell, goes to Margie B. from San Jose, CA. David Rosenfelt’s Hounded is going to Robin C. of Ashtabula, OH. Lisa G. from Pensacola Beach, FL won Blood Rubies by Jane K. Cleland. The books will go out in the mail tomorrow.
This week, I’m giving away books by two authors whose last name begins with S. Michael Sears’ Long Way Down features his Jason Stafford, a former Wall Street trader who is now trying to put his life together after two years in prison. He’s now a financial investigator, and he’s pretty good at detecting a lie. He believes Philip Haley when he says he’s been set up, indicted for insider trading on his own company. But, the deeper Stafford digs, the more dangerous it becomes as he uncovers secrets that some would kill for.
Or, you could win Larry D. Sweazy’s See Also Murder. This terrific mystery introduces Marjorie Trumaine, living on a North Dakota farm in 1964 where she began working as a professional indexer to help with the bills. When her closest neighbors are brutally killed, Sheriff Hilo Jenkins brings her a strange amulet, and asks her to find out what it is. It’s a powerful, dark mystery in which Marjorie watches the killer close in, killing others around her while she’s isolated on that farm.
Which crime novel would you like to win? You can enter to win both, but I need separate entries. Email me at Lesa.Holstine@gmail.com. Your entry should read either “Win Long Way Down” or “Win See Also Murder.” Please include your name and mailing address. Entries from the U.S. only, please. Because of my schedule next week, the contest will end Tuesday, July 21 at 6 PM CT.
Each of these books sound excellent. I think Larry D. Sweazy's SEE ALSO MURDER would be especially engaging.
Have a good weekend, Lesa.
Thank you, Reine. I hope you have a good weekend, too. SEE ALSO MURDER was fresh and fascinating. Good luck!
