Congratulations to the winners of the last contest. Julie P. from Southport, NC won Cookin’ the Books. Copies of Chocolate a la Murder will go to Karen K. of Marietta, GA and Lori B. from Puyallup, WA.

Now that it’s April, I’m giving away two March releases. Laura Childs’ Broken Bone China finds Theodosia drifting in a hot air balloon, high above Charleston. To the shock of everyone in their balloon, a drone crashes into the balloon next to theirs, causing the passengers in that one to crash to earth in a fiery explosion. Although the police have a suspect, believing the target was the CEO of a local software company, Theodosia doesn’t believe they have the right person.

If you don’t want a cozy mystery with recipes and tea time hints, maybe you’re interested in a legal thriller. Phillip Margolin is back with The Perfect Alibi. Robin Lockwood, a young lawyer with a small prestigious law firm, has to mastermind two impossible cases, while trying to find the hidden truth that links the two. She agrees to represent a young woman who accused a prominent college athlete of rape, and her client is convinced the rapist is stalking her. At the same time, another client is up on a murder charge, one that should be dismissed as self-defense, but the D.A. is determined to bring it to trial.

Which book would you like to win? You can enter to win both, but I need separate entries. Email me at Lesa.Holstine@gmail.com. Your subject line should read either “Win Broken Bone China” or “Win The Perfect Alibi.” Please include your name and mailing address. The giveaway will end Thursday, April 11 at 5 PM CT. Entries from the U.S. only, please.
