This week, I’m doing something I seldom do. I’m giving away two Advanced Reader’s Copies close to release date. But, these are duplicates. I already have copies, so I’m giving away crime novels that are the first in a new series. Colleen Cambridge’s Murder at Mallowan Hall introduces Phyllida Bright, Agatha Christie’s fictional housekeeper and amateur sleuth whose long admiration for the detectives created by the famous crime author helps solve the case when there are mysterious deaths at Mallowan Hall.
Looking for a thriller rather than a cozier mystery? Her Name is Knight is a debut receiving a great deal of attention. Yasmin Angoe features an elite assassin heroine on a mission to topple a human trafficking ring and avenge her family. Stolen from her Ghanian village as a child, Nena Knight has plenty of motives to kill. She’s now an elite assassin for a powerful business syndicate called the Tribe. When she’s on assignment, and saves a life rather than taking one, she’s a changed woman. That doesn’t mean she’s going to give up when she learns that a new Tribe council member is the same man who razed her village, murdered her family, and sold her into captivity.
Which ARC would you like to win? You can enter to win both, but I need separate entries. Email me at Lesa.Holstine@gmail.com. Your subject line should read either “Murder at Mallowan Hall” or “Her Name is Knight.” Please include your name and mailing address. The giveaway will end Thursday, Nov. 4 at 5 PM CT. Entries from the U.S. only, please.
