Congratulations to the winners of the last contest. Maggie Barbieri’s Lie in Plain Sight will go to Patricia R. from Burton, West Virginia. Glen D. from Yuba City, CA won Sophie Hannah’s A Game for All the Family. The books will go out in the mail tomorrow.

This week, I have two book-related mysteries as giveaways. E.J. Copperman kicks off a new series with Written Off. Rachel Goldman writes mysteries featuring Duffy Madison, consultant to the country prosecutor’s office. And, then a man shows up, claiming to be Duffy Madison. He says he needs her help to find a missing woman. Rachel doesn’t know what to think, but there is a woman missing, and a serial killer is after female mystery authors.

If you like your mysteries a little grittier, try Larry D. Sweazy’s See Also Deception, the latest Marjorie Trumaine mystery. You don’t have to have read the previous one to enter Marjorie’s world in North Dakota where she works as an indexer, a rancher, and takes care of her invalid husband. When the local librarian is murdered, a woman who was one of Marjorie’s lifelines, she’s convinced Calla did not commit suicide. When the police aren’t interested, Marjorie sets out to find answers.

Which mystery would you like to win? You can enter to win both, but I need separate entries. Email me at Lesa.Holstine@gmail.com. Your subject heading should read either “Win Written Off” or “Win See Also Deception.” Please include your name and mailing address. Entries from the U.S. only, please. The giveaway will end Thursday, July 14 at 6 PM CT.
