This week, I have two mysteries set in the 19th century. Kelley Armstrong’s A Rip Through Time is set in Edinburgh. On May 20, 2019, homicide detective Mallory Atkinson is out jogging in Edinburgh when she hears a woman in distress. She heads to the alley, and is attacked and loses consciousness. On May 20, 1869, housemaid Catriona Mitchell was found strangled and left for dead. When Mallory wakes up, she finds herself in Catriona’s body in Victorian Scotland days after the attack. Her only hope is that she can work with her boss, an undertaker and medical examiner, to find the killer so she can possibly get back to her real life.
Or, maybe you want to meet up with Jane Austen’s characters in Claudia Gray’s The Murder of Mr. Wickham. A summer house party held at the home of the happily married Mr. Knightley and Emma turns into a whodunit when Mr. Wickham, one of literature’s most notorious villains, meets a sudden and suspicious end in this mystery featuring Jane Austen’s most famous couples, including the Darcys.
Which mystery would you like to win? You can enter to win both, but I need separate entries. Email me at Lesa.Holstine@gmail.com. Your subject headings should read either “Win A Rip Through Time” or “Win The Murder of Mr. Wickham.” Please include your name and mailing address. The giveaway will end Thursday, July 28 at 5 PM CT. Entries from the U.S. only, please.
Once I got into A Ip In Time, I really enjoyed it.
