Should we try it? I know the USPS has been extremely slow, but I’m willing to give away two books in a contest. Then, when I mail them, we’ll see how long it takes for the books to get there.

If you’ve never entered one of my contests, let me tell you how my giveaways work. I’ll tell you about the books I”m giving away. If there are two books, and you want to try for both of them, you’ll need to send me two emails. You don’t enter here with comments. Send me an email at Lesa.Holstine@gmail.com. Put in the subject line whatever I suggest, and then you must include your name and mailing address. I do not follow up to ask for your mailing address. If it’s not there, you can’t win. Just follow the directions, and you’re entered!

I think we can all use a humorous book right now. I’m giving away a hardcover copy of Janet Evanovich’s Fortune and Glory. In the twenty-seventh Stephanie Plum novel, Stephanie’s Grandma is searching for a fortune. On her wedding night, her new husband died, leaving her a beat-up old chair and keys that might lead to a fortune. The problem? There are three other dangerous people looking for that same fortune. And, they won’t hesitate to hold Grandma or Stephanie hostage in order to find it.

Or, you could enter to win Hot to Trot by M.C. Beaton and R.W. Green, the latest Agatha Raisin mystery. When private detective learns her friend and one-time lover Charles Fraith is marrying a socialite, she thinks it’s her duty to find out about the woman. When she can’t find anything, she crashes the wedding, leading to a public altercation. When Agatha thinks it can’t get worse, she learns there’s a murder. And, she and Charles are suspects.

Which book would you like to win? You can enter to win both, but I need separate entries. Email me at Lesa.Holstine@gmail.com. Your subject lines should read either “Win Fortune and Glory” or “Win Hot to Trot.” Please include your name and mailing address. Entries from the U.S. only, please. The contest will end Thursday, Jan. 14 at 5 PM CT.
