I’m on deadline. It’s that time of month. Oh, I’ll share some reviews from Sandie and Kevin in the next few days, and, maybe even one or two from me. In the meantime, many of us will be doing the same thing. It’s going to below freezing here today, in the 20s when I get up in the morning. So, picture me with a book, a blanket, and a cup of hot chocolate. The only thing this photo needs is a cat, and you’ll have a photo of me at home.

In the meantime, I hope you have time to read this weekend so you can share your books with us on Thursday for “What Are You Reading?’ In the meantime, stay warm!

Lesa, I am sorry about the cold weather, but that blanket is beautiful. Our weather here for the weekend (high 70s) is going to be higher than last week or next week (mid 60s).
I hope your deadlines go well, and your weather improves.
Stay warm! We’re still mild enough here but it will start dropping tonight and the next few days will be in the 40s before another warmup Wednesday and (especially) Thursday.
I hope to finish THE MAN WHO DIED TWICE today (or maybe tomorrow).
Good Luck with your deadline, Lesa. It is 43 degrees here. Made through a six appointment week but PT is giving me pain. Have to take an Aleve and go bed with book, sore all over. I pledged 100 books this year for GoodReads. I am on book 90. The bad thing is that each year they cut the deadline short and count the books that you have read by that date. That irks me! Oh well, what can I do? Keep warm!
Thanks, everyone! It wasn’t quite as cold as expected this morning, but it was in the low thirties. Still too cold for this warm weather fan. Enjoy your days, your weather if it’s warmer, and your books!
It is cold here as well. And we are expected to get 2 to 4 inches of snow overnight tonight! Thankfully there is a warm up coming next week so it should all melt. I’m baking cookies and will be attempting to finish a book. Good luck with your deadline!
That “s” word is a four-letter expletive in my vocabulary, Gretchen. Cookies and a book are appropriate for the season.
After four days of badly needed rain, today is 50s and cloudy but dry. There is some gardening to do, but I’m not enthusiastic about it. Good luck with deadline reading / work.
Just finished Matzoh Ball. Great chic lit. N to Her Dark Lies. Snug under my quilt. The same way I have been reading since childhood 🤩🥰
I hope everyone had a good weekend. I have a short day at work today, and I”m gong to be reading when I get home.
