I know there are a few of you who can relate. I have some health problems, and once in a while they just knock me down for a day or two. I spent most of yesterday sleeping. That means I didn’t finish the book I’m reading. I hope to finish it today, and have a review tomorrow.
In the meantime, I’ll be fine. I have a couple errands to run today, and that always pushes me. And, I hope to go to an Art Stroll tomorrow.
So, don’t worry about me. Just know I needed a day to sleep.
In the meantime, one errand today is to pick up my copy of Class Clown by Dave Barry. It’s on hold at the library. If you’re a Dave Barry fan, you might want to check out the recent event at The Poisoned Pen.
Rest up. Hope you are feeling better soon.
As long as you’ll be fine I’ll try not to be worried, but I’m still going to be unhappy that you’re having troubles. Take care Lesa.
I get it very well. I am sorry and more than a bit worried. Please take care of yourself.
I’m so sorry! Hope you’re feeling better ASAP.
Take as much time as you need to rest and feel better.
I second Sandy, take all the time you need. Sleep when your body says sleep. I’m sending good thoughts your way.
Hope you can rest today, Lesa. Take good care of yourself.
So sorry your health problems have hit. I can relate to having flares like that and needing some recovery time. Take care of yourself and I’ll hope you feel better quickly!
happened too me a couple of weeks ago lesa, had a nasty cold, and spent the whole weekend on nyquil and sleep
Bummer. Feel better! I had a day like that in Florida – I was up all night because whenever I tried to lie down, I felt worse – but, thankfully, it passed.
I started Dave’s book yesterday, and it is guaranteed to cheer you up, even though it is not all laughs and silliness.
Totally get it. Do you know the spoon theory. When you are low on spoons (energy) you need rest breaks or you will run out of spoons and then you will be exhausted and the bad cytokines will come after with you with lots of pain at least in my case. You need to set breaks for some kind of rest to get your energy back. Some times, you just need to go sloooooooooower!
Take care, my friend!
Oh Lesa, I’m so sorry you’re not feeling well, but you’re right to listen to your body’s needs. Take care
Sending all kinds of hugs and love, sis. Take care. love you. ❤
Listen to your bodyt Lesa, and don’t worry about us – we’ll still be here when you feel up to coming back!
Sending good thoughts (and apologies for not contributing yesterday – I just didn’t get a chance.)
xx
Hugs, everyone! Thank you! Today isn’t as bad as yesterday. I even ran errands. But, as all of you said, I needed a day to recuperate. Carol, I do know the spoon theory. I just tend to forget it. So, I appreciate the reminder. Thank you! And, thank you to all of you! I’m happy to have you all in my corner!
