Happy Saturday! Enjoy the weekend, and the chance to spend time reading or with loved ones. Mom and I are heading to my youngest sister’s today for lunch and to see her Christmas decorations. I might get a little reading done, but I doubt it.
Enjoy your day!
That sounds like fun! Have a wonderful holiday.
Thank you, Ellen! Merry Christmas!
Nooo!!!The dreaded “S” word has struck here. Yes, I woke up to find the cars (at least) covered with snow, and with the temperatures in the low 30s today and Monday and the twenties tomorrow, we’ll have it for a few days at least, until the pre-Christmas warm up. Good thing we planned for this, with enough food to stay inside for the next three days. And good thing it is just a small amount.
Let’s hope this is the last cold/snow spell until after January 3.
Have a good weekend.
Good morning, Jeff! I know exactly what you mean. We have that dreaded “S” word covering my car, too. But, I usually only go out and start it and make sure it starts. I’m with you. Hope that you don’t get anymore until after you leave for Florida.
Lesa, thankfully, even though it is only 31 degrees here, the sun was warm enough that it melted the snow off the car and I didn’t have to go out to brush it off. That’s the amount of snow I can deal with.
You’re right. That’s about it. We drove in snow today, but it was those big flowery snowflakes that don’t stick, so it was okay.
Lesa, glad you have been having a fun week with your Mom and other family. Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Just think of all the fun books we’ll read in 2025 – can’t wait!!
Merry Christmas, Kay, and Happy New Year! Oh, yes! I’ve already read some good January releases, so I know there are some good books coming out in 2025. Enjoy, and hugs!
Have fun.
The S word here is either SEVERE or SLEET. No snow or sleet is predicted, but storms are predicted for Tuesday and Thursday and some of those suckers may be strong or marginally severe. Bah, humbug!
Bah, humbug is right, Kevin. I hope those storms and nasty weather misses you!
