Merry Christmas Eve and Happy Holidays to all who celebrate. Stay safe if you’re out or traveling today. I’ll have a note tomorrow, and then, of course, there will still be Thursday at Lesa’s even if only a few of us show up. Take care of yourselves!
Merry Christmas, Lesa!
Thank you, Carol! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Eve, Lesa & Friends!
Sending Christmas hugs to your whole family, Kaye!
And the same to you, Lesa.
We were planning on going out today, only to wake up to a fall of the white stuff! Very annoying. If it doesn’t melt by lunchtime, we’ll stay in and make do with what we have in the house (which is mostly soup and bread).
I am not fond of that white stuff, Jeff. Soup and bread is okay for a day or two, but I hope you had a chance to get out.
The sun came out, it melted most of the snow – there was only an inch or so in the end – and we went out after all. The restaurant we were going to go to was closed (I guess an early holiday), so we went to a newly opened Vietnamese restaurant instead. It was delicious, and since we spent over $30 we got 4 free spring rolls in their Grand Opening Special. So it’s all good.
Oh, good, Jeff. And, it sounds good!
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a peaceful, contented holiday!
Thank you, Lindy! Merry Christmas, and I wish you good health!
Merry Christmas everyone! Snow on the ground in Michigan, but expecting 50 degree temps this weekend. Will celebrate on the 26th when our granddaughter is here.
Just extends the holiday, Jennifer, when you have it with family. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Lesa and to all the posters. A beautiful sunny day in Williamsburg but colder than I’d like (mid 30s). Safe travels to all who are on the road today.
Oh, that is colder than I like, too, Susan. Stay in and stay warm. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you, Lesa, and all the lovely people that stop by here. Weather in Central Texas is warm this year. I laugh about the weather people with their ‘scolding’ tone about how it’s ‘warmer than it should be’. Not the first year for that. I remember years running outside barefoot on Christmas Day. Anyway, I’ve been to the grocery store for the fresh fruit and makings for guacamole for tomorrow at my husband’s brother’s house. They are hosting this year and so we don’t have as much to do. Think that all the family has indicated that they will be there (up to 15 now with one niece having a new boyfriend). It will be fun. Take care and we’ll see how it is by New Year’s Day. Think it will be cooler by then.
Isn’t it a great group of people that stops here, Kay? I just love everyone who stops by to talk about books and life.
Enjoy your Christmas at your brother-in-law’s. We’ll have family stopping in off and on tomorrow, so we’re having sandwiches and chips. Some are going on to family for formal meals, so we’re just the snacking spot. But, there’s a five-year-old amidst all the adults, so it will be fun.
I had a lot of years with warm temperatures at Christmas and New Year’s, and I didn’t mind them at all.
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Eve to one and all.
We are hunkered down here at the house in NE Dallas and awaiting the incoming first storm line. No white stuff (hail) but reports are that it is full of lightning and heavy rain and flood warnings are up just to our west. Hope we keep power as I am running my AC as it is in the upper 60s now and very humid.
In short, just another day that ends in Y. 😉
Merry Christmas, Kevin.
Your weather sounds awful. I hope you keep your electricity, too. Rough not to have the air and electricity to read by.
You and Scott take care!
Merry Christmas Lesa and All! Reading a good book which I will post about on Thursday
Oh, good, Donna. We’re always interested in a good book!
