My family is off to Shipshewana, Indiana today for the rest of the week. And, no, Kevin, we’re not going by horse and buggy. But, Shipshewana is in Indiana’s Amish country. We have plans – a play, shops to go to, gardens that look like quilts, meals, and time spent together.
So, there’s no book blog today, and I’ll just be on a little bit until next week. Then, I have no trips planned until August, so I’ll be around for the summer.
Safe and fun travels, Lesa!
We have just, today, returned from Alaska. We thought we were prepared for the beauty, but we weren’t. It’s breathtaking and magical.
Now to find a book . . .
Enjoy your trip.
Have a great time. Hope the weather cooperates. It’s been overcast, drizzly, rainy and basically miserable here for days, but they are predicting a series of 90 degree days next week. That’s too hot! Can’t we just get “normal” weather?
Enjoy and be sure to eat at Amish restaurants, I have been there, long ago and envy you!
Wonderful to go! Be sure to eat at Amish restaurants1
Sounds like fun, Lesa. I’ve been to Amish country in PA many years ago, but not Indiana or Ohio. Have a great time!
I’ve never been to Amish country in any state. Sounds like you’re planning a great time. I hope you enjoy it.
