Still on break, but I’m getting closer to a book review.
But, I can share this, if you’re interested. If you read the Phyrne Fisher mysteries, here’s an article about the death of Kerry Greenwood, author of those books. https://ab.co/4jpXNdt
I should have a review tomorrow.
I have two reviews to write, but I don’t want to at all. Don’t want to do anything.
Seriously thinking about following your lead and taking a break for a few days after I promote Aubrey’s review later today.
Started Fallen Star by Lee Goldberg this afternoon. Won’t be out till the fall and I have stuff to read sooner, but I needed the comfort read and the break.
Go ahead and do some self care. All of need comfort reads at this time!
You’re right, Carol. I’m thinking when I finish this book, the Tess Gerritsen will be a comfort read.
I don’t think we do enough self-care. We just push through.
I get it, Kevin. That’s sort of how I was this weekend. Enjoy the Lee Goldberg. I get it – reaching for a comfort read.
I should finish my book today, and have a review tomorrow, but that’s because I have errands to run today, and I have to physically get out and about, or I might not make it.
Take a break! You deserve one, too!
Thank you for sharing the article about the author. I’ve watched most of the Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries. I’ve enjoyed both time periods. I will have to get her books from the library.
You’re welcome, Bonnie. Not good news, but it came across before I wrote the blog yesterday.
