I didn’t have anything appropriate to acknowledge the death of Queen Elizabeth II, so I picked two cozy mysteries involving tea for this week’s giveaway. Murder Spills the Tea is A Tea by the Sea Mystery by Vicki Delany. Lily Roberts pores over the clues in a piping hot new case when a confrontational celebrity chef is murdered at her Cape Cod tearoom during the filming of a popular baking show. There’s an on-camera blowup with Lily’s staff, and the judge and bad-boy chef is found murdered with Lily’s rolling pin.

Or you can head to the Misty Bay Tea Room with Kate Kingsbury’s In Too Steep. Here, readers are heading to a tea shop in Oregon. Lewis Trenton, a beachcomber who lived alone in a cabin in the Oregon hills, was murdered. But, a newspaper article piques the interest of Vivian Wainwright, owner of the British-style Misty Bay Tearoom. The photo accompanying the article shows Lewis’ cluttered living room, and on the shelf is a replica of Big Ben. Vivian is sure she sold that clock a week earlier from her shop. Who gave it to Lewis? As Vivian pokes around, she finds a diamond, and lets the police know about it. Is it connected to Lewis’ death, or was he murdered for another reason?

Which mystery would you like to win? You can enter to win both books, but I need separate entries. Email me at Lesa.Holstine@gmail.com. Your subject headings should read either “Win Murder Spills the Tea” or “Win In Too Steep.” Please include your name and mailing address. The giveaway will end Thursday, Sept. 15 at 5 PM CT. Entries from the U.S. only, please.
