On the road again. Heading home after a week at Mom’s. We had a good, relaxing time; did jigsaw puzzles, laughed a lot, and as far as we went was the edge of town. We really just enjoyed our time together.
So, I’m heading home. Thank you to Kevin Tipple for filling in for me. I’m going to take tomorrow off. I’ll have Easter dinner at my sister and brother-in-law’s. And, I hope to read a book or two.
We’ll catch up soon!
Always glad to help. Travel safe.
I keep hearing Willie Nelson in my head now. Or maybe it’s Alan (Blind Owl) Wilson. Either way, have a safe trip home.
Have a happy holiday, everyone. It’s a four-day weekend in Switzerland and, at least today, the sun is shining and we can sit on our balcony in a warm jacket, so I’m going to enjoy it. My 89-year-old mother-in-law will join my husband, me, and our son for dinner tomorrow night. Otherwise, reading and a few nice walks.
Kim, so good to hear that you have 89 year old mother-in-law.
Carol, she’s a wonder! She’s a widow, living in her house in the village near where she grew up, and she does everything for herself–shopping, cooking, light gardening. She has a pacemaker and some arthritis, but otherwise she’s healthy and sharp as a tack.
So glad that you are having times of enjoyment, Lesa!!!
Thank you, Carol.
Thank you, everyone! Kim, isn’t it wonderful how women like your mother-in-law and my mother are so independent? When people ask how my mother is doing, I always say better than I am. And, now that I’m home, I’m reading!
